With over 20 years as a veteran firefighter and engineer, John has received the Governor's Award for service and bravery. His service has included fighting fires and saving lives and structures in:the 1993 Firestorms, 1996 Harmony Grove Fires, 2001 Ground Zero, 2003 Cedar Fires, 2007 Big Bear Slide Fires, 2007 SoCal Fires.
